Scuba diving Hawaii Kai airplane wreck PADI

A great day of scuba diving in Hawaii Kai with captin Joe aboard the Nori-Z!

Dive site one - Corsair - Viz great 70' - A little curent but not bad! Lots of garden eels around us as we explored the airplane. A huge moray was inside waiting for the first person to try and sit in the seat.

Dive site two - China Wall - Viz great 70' - A great drift dive and exploring the spitting caves. A white tip reef shark with a hook in his mouth, several eels, and green sea turtles were found.

Corsair AirplaneThe only wreck that was not intentionally sunk as an artificial reef, the corsair was ditched by its pilot during WWII as it ran out of fuel. The aircraft is in remarkable condition and even has an intact glass face on one of the cockpit gauges. The plane sits in 107 feet of water and is the only site where we have seen the elusive garden eels.
